Milk fever is a common metabolic disorder in dairy cows which generally affects cows up from the second parturition, especially high yielding cows. It is caused by a rapid decrease of the calcium concentration in the blood just before calving. Cal Gel is enriched with calcium, magnesium, and vitamins to avoid deficiencies and to support the cow in a critical period.
