Romanian president opens IndAgra 2016

The 21st edition of IndAgra, conceived and organized by ROMEXPO EXHIBITION CENTRE in Bucharest in partnership with the Chambers of Industry and Commerce of Romania, was held under the high patronage of the president of Romania and brought together 515 exhibitors, which means a 10 % increase compared to the previous year.
This year, there were more than 340 exhibitors from Romania and over 160 companies from another 21 countries with tradition in the agricultural sector present at the IndAgra: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine and United Kingdom.
The surplus value of the fair together with the quality of the exhibits have contributed to a large public participation of 64 800 visitors in five days. The manifestation occupied the entire exhibition area of Romexpo, respectively 34000 m².
As IndAgra 2016 was held under the high patronage of the president of Romania, the opening ceremony took place in the presence of president Klaus Iohannis, Achim Irimescu, the minister of agriculture and Mihai Daraban, the president of the Chambers of Industry and Commerce.
Biochem was present at the fair for the 9th time, having a booth of 15 m², participating with the colleagues from the Sales and Marketing department. Our booth was constantly filled with people: we invited our partners to discussions, tying the business relationships tighter. The fair was an opportunity for us to meet our customers as well as our competitors and to lay the foundation for future collaborations.
