Gefahrstoffbeauftragter (m/w/d).

Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the management of hazardous substances in the company in accordance with the German Hazardous Substances Ordinance (GefStoffV), REACH, and CLP

  • Preparation and maintenance of safety data sheets and operating instructions

  • Conducting risk assessments in accordance with Section 6 of the German Hazardous Substances Ordinance (GefStoffV)

  • Training and instructing employees in the handling of hazardous substances

  • Monitoring proper storage, labeling, and disposal

  • Communicating with authorities and external service providers

  • Assisting with internal and external audits

  • Advising management on all matters related to hazardous substances legislation

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, environmental engineering, safety engineering, or a comparable qualification

  • Additional training in hazardous materials management is a plus

  • Several years of professional experience handling hazardous substances, ideally in the chemical industry or the feed industry

  • Very good knowledge of relevant legal regulations

  • Structured and independent work style

  • Assertiveness and strong communication skills

  • Good German and English language skills
