Responsibility for the management of hazardous substances in the company in accordance with the German Hazardous Substances Ordinance (GefStoffV), REACH, and CLP
Preparation and maintenance of safety data sheets and operating instructions
Conducting risk assessments in accordance with Section 6 of the German Hazardous Substances Ordinance (GefStoffV)
Training and instructing employees in the handling of hazardous substances
Monitoring proper storage, labeling, and disposal
Communicating with authorities and external service providers
Assisting with internal and external audits
Advising management on all matters related to hazardous substances legislation
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, environmental engineering, safety engineering, or a comparable qualification
Additional training in hazardous materials management is a plus
Several years of professional experience handling hazardous substances, ideally in the chemical industry or the feed industry
Very good knowledge of relevant legal regulations
Structured and independent work style
Assertiveness and strong communication skills
Good German and English language skills
