Hazardous Substances Officer (m/f/d)

At Biochem, we are looking for a dedicated individual who will support our manufacturing team as a Hazardous Substances Officer (m/f/d) with enthusiasm and professional expertise. Your Responsibilities:

  • Taking over responsibility for operational hazardous substances management (GefStoffV, REACH, and CLP)

  • Conducting risk assessments

  • Creating and maintaining safety data sheets and operating instructions

  • Training and instructing employees

  • Supporting internal and external audits

  • Monitoring proper storage, labeling, and disposal

  • Serving as the internal and external point of contact for all matters relating to hazardous substances management

Your Qualifications:

  • Degree in chemistry, environmental engineering, or a comparable qualification

  • Further training in hazardous substances management is an advantage

  • Experience in handling hazardous substances

  • Very good knowledge of relevant legal regulations

  • Fluency in both German and English

  • Strong team spirit, excellent communication skills, and organizational talent

  • Structured, independent way of working and a passion for making a difference
