Modes of Action.

Our effective range of feed additives and dietary feed supplements are specifically selected and developed to support animal health and productivity.

Enzyme Production

Probiotic-produced digestive enzymes such as proteases, carbohydrases, and lipases improve feed breakdown which enhances nutrient availability, nutrient absorption, and feed efficiency.

Direct Pathogen Inhibition

Due to probiotic-driven substances like cyclic peptides or organic acids that directly reduce or prevent growth of harmful bacteria by disrupting membranes or cellular processes.

Pathogen Binding

The binding of Mannan-Oligosaccharides to cell surface structures of gram-negative pathogens reduces their ability of epithelial attachment and increases their elimination.

Immune Modulation

Microbial molecules stimulate immune function resulting in better immune regulation, response, and defense. Overall, this enhances the resistance to harmful bacteria and related infections.

Reinforced Intestinal Barrier

Strengthening of mucosal linings by supporting tight junction formation, immune response, epithelial regeneration, and mucous secretion. This mechanism prevents harmful substances from entering the blood system.

Stimulation of Short-chain Fatty Acid Production

Short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) like acetic, propionic, and butyric acids are crucial for physiological processes, impacting gut and immune homeostasis, as well as brain, lung, liver, and bone health.

Triple P® is a highly effective synbiotic specifically designed to protect livestock and reduce the use of antibiotics. Triple P® is an ideal combination of two probiotic strains and prebiotic yeast cell walls to maintain intestinal integrity. By leveraging the different capabilities of each ingredient to support gut health, Triple P® is a smart choice for farms with high pathogen pressure.

The power behind Triple P® is the optimal blend of Bacillus licheniformis DSM 5749 and B. subtilis DSM 5750 with TechnoMos®. The combination of these three P’s works to stimulate a positive gut microbiota and digestive capacities, modulate the immune system, inhibit gut pathogens, and promote well-being.

Bacillus-based probiotics are widely used in animal feeds. Overall, they are known to improve health status and improve animal performance. Triple P® contains two different Bacillus probiotic strains. The first, Bacillus subtilis DSM 5750, is an enzyme-producing microbe. These enzymes help to increase nutrient availability by improving feed digestion. The second, Bacillus licheniformis DSM 5749, is known to suppress Gram-positive pathogenic bacteria (such as Clostridium perfringens). In addition, B. licheniformis increases lactic acid producing bacteria and helps to stabilize beneficial microbiota.

TechnoMos®, the prebiotic in Triple P®, is the perfect complement to its dual probiotic. TechnoMos® is derived from the yeast cell wall of Saccharomyces cerevisiae and has been selected for its high content of mannan-oligosaccharides and β-1,3/1,6-glucans. These components have been widely used in animal feeds with documented improvements in animal performance. TechnoMos® supports a strong and stable gut microbiota, healthy gut function, and immune modulation.

Together, the ingredients in Triple P® work synergistically to increase resistance against certain pathogens and improve recovery from disease. Designed to reduce reliance on antibiotics, Triple P® enhances feed and food safety and builds consumer confidence. Benefit from the synergistic effects of Triple P®—improve feed conversion, improve performance, and improve your bottom line!

Key Facts You Need to Know About Antibiotic Reduction

Key facts you need to know about antibiotic reduction

Over the years, the necessity of antibiotic reduction in animal production has become a global endeavor. Driven by the emergence of multi-resistant bacteria and the need for a one-health concept, most countries now have legislation to regulate antibiotic use. The quickly evolving market demands and feed industry solutions prompt us to take a fresh look on this complex topic.

3 P's for tilapia: production, protection, profit

Prices are low within the Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) producing industry and the most significant cost driver is feed. Thus, farmers and feed manufacturers are looking for cheap raw materials to adapt to the market prices. But how does this affect the productivity and efficiency of tilapia farming?
