Product Benefits.

Modes of Action.

Our effective range of feed additives and dietary feed supplements are specifically selected and developed to support animal health and productivity.

Co-factor

Trace minerals and vitamins are important co-factors in physiologic processes. Trace elements function as activators of antioxidant enzymes. Vitamins have numerous roles in biochemical functions.

Direct Pathogen Inhibition

Due to probiotic-driven substances like cyclic peptides or organic acids that directly reduce or prevent growth of harmful bacteria by disrupting membranes or cellular processes.

Fundamental Factor

Is a vital element for important structures. Iron is a crucial component of hemoglobin for oxygen transport. Calcium is required for bones and eggshell mineralization.

Iron Boost

Iron is a is a crucial component of hemoglobin for oxygen transport. Piglets are born without iron reserves and can become anemic quickly. Highly bioavailable organic iron sources are easily absorbed.

Competitive Exclusion

Outcompeting other germs for resources such as nutrients, space, or binding sites. This mechanism reduces the risk of non-beneficial or pathogenic overgrowth.

Immune Modulation

Microbial molecules stimulate immune function resulting in better immune regulation, response, and defense. Overall, this enhances the resistance to harmful bacteria and related infections.

Reinforced Intestinal Barrier

Strengthening of mucosal linings by supporting tight junction formation, immune response, epithelial regeneration, and mucous secretion. This mechanism prevents harmful substances from entering the blood system.

Beneficial Absorption Rate

Effective transport to the intestinal wall leads to a higher absorption. Organically bound minerals have a superior bioavailability than inorganic minerals.

Product Description.

Piglet anemia is a common problem in swine production. Ferroniq provides a safe, effective, and stress-free solution. This dietary feed supplement provides iron fumarate without the risks of an injection, which can transmit infectious agents and cause abscesses. Oral administration of Ferroniq is stress free for the piglet and ensures a safe intake of much needed iron.

Iron is an essential element of fitness. Ferroniq contains the highly available organic iron (E.C.O. Trace® Iron), which is administered orally to the piglet within the first three days of life—after the first colostrum intake.

Ferroniq is more than an iron supplement. It also contains two probiotic strains to stabilize the gut microbiota and improve piglet health. These strains—Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus licheniformis—are specially selected to provide a broad spectrum of activity against pathogens.

The beneficial lactic acid bacteria quickly colonize the gut and inhibits the growth of pathogenic bacteria. Additionally, they work by helping to modulate the intestinal microbiota and can help minimize the risk of diarrhea caused by gram-positive bacteria.

Ferroniq is enriched with vitamins to support vitality. This combination of probiotics and vitamins improves the defenses of the intestines and establishes a beneficial microbiota at an early stage of life. This promotes overall piglet health and performance by ensuring proper digestion and nutrient absorption.

Ferroniq is a comprehensive nutritional supplement for nursing piglets that supports improved blood cell components, stabilized gut microbiota, and increased vitality. Ferroniq promotes piglet health and performance—give your newborn piglets a safe and gentle start in life!

Managing Large Litters

Managing Large Litters.

Breeding progress has delivered bigger litters—but not without costs. Sow breeding goals have changed over the past few decades with a focus on selecting higher ovulation rates and large litter sizes. Not only does this place increased demand and pressure on sows, but large litters increase birth weight variabilityt, competition at the udder, and pre-weaning losses. This newsletter explains practical, science-based ways to support sow health, colostrum and milk supply, and early piglet care. You’ll also see how water-based delivery and farm-individual feeding concepts can boost uniformity and weaning success.
