Application Method.

Product Description.

Molds and their mycotoxins are a persistent problem in the animal feed industry, despite high quality standards. These toxic metabolites can be responsible for a wide range of health problems in animals, including reduced reproductive performance, decreased milk production, reduced feed efficiency, and suppression of the immune system. Mycotoxins can even contaminate milk and meat, making them a genuine threat to humans and animals.

Several mycotoxins have been identified as particularly harmful to production animals. These include aflatoxins, ochratoxins, zearalenone, T-2/HT2-toxin, and fumonisins. To protect against their harmful effects, nutritionally inert substances—mycotoxin binders—are added to feed. Their simple but effective function is to bind mycotoxins in the intestine and prevent absorption.

B.I.O.Tox® Farm has been developed as a highly effective mycotoxin adsorber to address this problem. B.I.O.Tox® Farm is based on a complex and efficient formulation of inorganic and organic mycotoxin binders that can bind polar and nonpolar mycotoxins. This ensures effective intestinal adsorption of a wide range of mycotoxins, preventing them from entering the metabolism.

Once ingested, B.I.O.Tox® Farm acts quickly to irreversibly bind multiple mycotoxins such as aflatoxin B1, zearalenone, T-2 toxin and ochratoxin A, helping to prevent the adverse health effects and reduced performance caused by mycotoxins in feed. Farmers around the world use B.I.O.Tox® Farm to improve feed intake, performance, and intestinal stability in their animals.

B.I.O.Tox® Farm is a highly effective and easy-to-use solution to the persistent problem of mycotoxins in animal feed. It provides farmers with a reliable and efficient tool to ensure optimal health and performance of their animals. B.I.O.Tox® Farm significantly reduces or eliminates the adverse health effects of mycotoxins, ensuring optimal animal health and performance.

Mycotoxin Management: Why toxin binders are indispensable

Mycotoxins are secondary metabolites of certain moulds. This means that they are not any products of normal metabolism, but rather a kind of defense strategy.
