Product Benefits.

Modes of Action.

Our effective range of feed additives and dietary feed supplements are specifically selected and developed to support animal health and productivity.

Nutrient Release

Some nutrients in feed are unavailable for use by the animal. Enzymes work by releasing these valuable nutrients and improving the nutritional value of feed, especially those from plant sources.

Reduce Antinutritive Effects

Feed raw materials often contain antinutritive substances. Eliminating antinutrients increase the effectiveness of the animal´s own digestive enzymes.

Application Method.

Product Description.

Axtra® PHY GOLD G is a phytase feed enzyme specifically designed to increase the digestibility of phytin-bound phosphorus, calcium, energy, and amino acids in animal diets. Axtra® PHY GOLD G is a consensus bacterial phytase variant expressed in Trichoderma reesei and is superior to other phytases in terms of speed and performance.

Phytate, also known as phytic acid, is the main mechanism of phosphorus storage in plants. Phosphorus is an essential mineral. However, when bound to phytate, it is unavailable to monogastric animals, which lack the digestive enzyme, phytase. Fast-acting Axtra® PHY GOLD G works quickly to release phosphorus from phytate.

The rapid action of Axtra® PHY GOLD G in the digestive tract is an important feature. Phytate is both a potential source of phosphorus and an anti-nutrient because of its ability to bind to essential nutrients. Phytate binds to proteins and amino acids at the low pH found in the upper digestive tract. However, at a higher pH in the lower intestine, phytate can bind to calcium and other trace minerals.

Axtra® PHY GOLD G has an exceptionally high relative activity at low pH compared with other phytases. In addition, because of its enhanced resistance to pepsin, it acts quickly in the upper digestive tract to both release phosphorus and overcome the anti-nutrient effects of phytate. The net result is improved animal performance. Axtra® PHY GOLD G comes in several concentrations to fit your exact needs.

Axtra® PHY GOLD G is ideal for mash feed or for lower temperature pelleting up to 70°C. Axtra® PHY GOLD G—the gold standard of phytase!

BetaTrace®: Securing the Future of Dairy Performance with Rumen Bypass Betaine.

Standard betaine is often lost to rumen degradation, limiting its ability to support transition cows when they need it most. BetaTrace® overcomes this challenge by complexing betaine with organic trace minerals, allowing it to bypass the rumen and effectively support liver health and metabolism. Discover how this dual-action additive increases methionine availability and boosts lactation performance while delivering essential minerals.
