Lactiferm® Imuno

Lactiferm® Imuno is a newborn piglet starter that stimulates immunity and metabolism. Its active ingredients are antibodies from colostrum and the probiotic Enterococcus faecium. It also provides sufficient vitamins for optimal metabolic processes and increased resistance to infections. Lactiferm® Imuno is safe and effective and can help improve the health and productivity of piglets.

Product Benefits.

Modes of Action.

Our effective range of feed additives and dietary feed supplements are specifically selected and developed to support animal health and productivity.

Competitive Exclusion

Outcompeting other germs for resources such as nutrients, space, or binding sites. This mechanism reduces the risk of non-beneficial or pathogenic overgrowth.

Lactic Acid Production

Multifunctional organic acid that contributes to overall health by supporting a balanced gut microbiome, intestinal integrity, and immune homeostasis.

Passive Immunity

Before gut closure in newborns, immunoglobulins are absorbed through the intestinal wall to provide immunity for the first weeks of life. Drives the maturation of systemic active and passive immunity.

Immune Modulation

Microbial molecules stimulate immune function resulting in better immune regulation, response, and defense. Overall, this enhances the resistance to harmful bacteria and related infections.

Co-factor

Trace minerals and vitamins are important co-factors in physiologic processes. Trace elements function as activators of antioxidant enzymes. Vitamins have numerous roles in biochemical functions.

Product Description.

Lactiferm® Imuno is a specially formulated feed supplement designed to optimally support and nourish the immune and metabolic functions of the newborn piglet. It uniquely combines colostral antibodies, Enterococcus faecium probiotics, and vitamins. Lactiferm® Imuno helps increase resistance to pathogens. It stabilizes the intestinal microbiota and stimulates metabolism.

Immunoglobulins are an important ingredient in Lactiferm® Imuno. Immunoglobulins reduce the risk of infection and support passive immunity. Piglets can only absorb antibodies for only a short time after birth. These immunoglobulins protect the gut during the critical first days. After that time, they are non-specific in their support of the piglet’s immune system. B.I.O.Ig is the source of the immunoglobulins in Lactiferm® Imuno.

B.I.O.Ig is a bovine colostrum product. It is a rich source of bioactive compounds that protect against disease and infection, modulate the immune system, maintain intestinal function, and promote healthy gut microbiota. B.I.O.Ig is carefully processed to maintain the integrity of the active ingredients in the final product.

Lactiferm® Imuno establishes a positive gut microbiota early in life with the probiotic microorganism Enterococcus faecium. It helps to stabilize the microbiota by eliminating harmful bacteria from the gut. The result is an improvement in the piglet’s immune function and an increase in its resistance to infection.

Feed Intake First – The Top Priority.

The weaning transition is a critical window for piglet development. When feed intake drops, gut integrity follows, creating a cycle of poor performance. Our latest research explores how the umami-rich profile of Kluyveromyces fragilis provides a stable, natural foundation to maintain appetite and support immunity during this high-stress period.

Securing the Future of Dairy Performance with Rumen Bypass Betaine.

BetaTrace®: Securing the Future of Dairy Performance with Rumen Bypass Betaine.

Standard betaine is often lost to rumen degradation, limiting its ability to support transition cows when they need it most. BetaTrace® overcomes this challenge by complexing betaine with organic trace minerals, allowing it to bypass the rumen and effectively support liver health and metabolism. Discover how this dual-action additive increases methionine availability and boosts lactation performance while delivering essential minerals.
