Yeast products have a positive effect on rumen fermentation and are widely used in intensive cattle operations—the micronutrients and yeast metabolites from hydrolyzed yeast stimulate microbial growth. RumiPro® Basic is a hydrolyzed yeast product for optimal rumen fermentation and improved milk production.

RumiPro® Basic consists of heat-stable yeast derivatives carefully selected to maximize the availability of beneficial micronutrients, like amino acids and nucleic acids, to stimulate microbial growth. The additional microbial biomass from feeding RumiPro® Basic also optimizes microbial protein synthesis.

RumiPro® Basic’s yeast cell wall components are effective in the binding of Gram-negative pathogenic bacteria and thereby also reducing their toxic components. As such, RumiPro® Basic provides exceptional support for animal health and performance by stabilizing the microbiota and reducing the negative effects of microbial fluctuations. Additionally, RumiPro® Basic contains β-1,3/1,6-glucans for support of the immune system.
