Formulated with the powerful strains Bacillus subtilis DSM 25841 and Bacillus amyloliquefaciens DSM 25840, SOLPREME® harnesses the unique benefits of these two probiotic strains to promote a healthy, thriving intestinal microbiota for optimal sow and piglet health and performance.
B. subtilis and B. amyloliquefaciens were thoughtfully selected because of their ability to inhibit potential pathogenic bacteria, such as E. coli and Clostridia spp. B. subtilis is especially known for its excellent pathogen inhibition properties, whereas B. amyloliquefaciens is known for its exceptional enzyme production, which reduces excess nutrients available for pathogen growth.
SOLPREME® helps to reduce shedding of Clostridium perfringens and E. coli adhesion to intestinal cells, thereby helping to reduce diarrhea in sucking piglets and improving both sow and piglet performance. Feeding SOLPREME® during lactation reduces sow body weight loss, reduces piglet mortality, and increases the number of piglets weaned.
